We’ve all been there: you buy a new gadget, you use it for a while, and then you just toss it out. But what if you could keep your belongings longer and avoid unnecessary waste? SUMMIT is a free event in September that aims to help you do just that.

Patel also noted that these repair cafes have been incredibly successful in encouraging people to be more mindful of their consumption and reduce waste. The repair cafes are organized by the Summit Area Resource Center (ARC) and are open to anyone in the town, regardless of their ability to pay. The event is free to attend, but donations are appreciated.
